Flexible Seating Tools

Allow students to choose their own seating arrangement depending on their postural development and sensory need. Make the class welcoming and accessible for all by taking into account the specific needs of each learner.

Sensory Room Consultation

Customize multi-sensory environment from relaxation to exploration room. Allow students to thrive in a fun movement base environment to be creative and have a positive mindset through therapeutic challenges.

Onsite Training Workshop

Sensory Inclusive Flexible Seating Classroom

An Environment That Adapts To Students

The driving concept of flexible seating is simple. The idea is to make students comfortable in their environment, which consequently fosters better learning. This approach is based on scientific studies and the feedbacks from many teachers. It promotes good humor, enthusiasm, and collaborative work.

Students with learning disabilities may benefit from the increased focus that results from having seats that suits them. It is an excellent option for students with autism, ADHD or other sensory issues. For example, some flexible seating arrangement is modeled to stimulate students’ sense of touch. This is important since sensory stimulation can aid kids focus and process information.

Sensory Inclusive Onsite Workshop

The use of games, exercises, and challenges to build students' confidence, promote health, develop body awareness and improve whole body coordination.

Sensory Strategies in the Classroom (Half-Day)

This hands-on workshop focuses on providing teachers and staff a foundational understanding of sensory systems. It includes sensory strategies for working with over-reactive and under-reactive students. The workshop also provides specific movement breaks and movements to be used in and out of the classroom throughout the day.

PE for Neuro-diversity (Half-Day)

The workshop covers activities, games, and movements that address postural instabilities, coordination, and motor planning. Educators are shown the value of specific movements and how to incorporate them into games, exercises, and activities into the physical education setting.
